BRUCETON MILLS — The Hazelton technology company Prodigi continues to build what company owners are calling its $2 million fiber-optic, high speed broadband network that by the end of March will reach Kingwood.
Since last summer, the high speed Internet service provider has been building an extensive network of fiber optics to much of northern Preston County including West Virginia Route 26.
“We are almost complete with our build from Bruceton to Kingwood,” Prodigi Engineer Kaitlyn Snider said. “Along that way, we are hitting all of the side roads as well.”
On Friday, Feb. 5, Prodigi staff hosted a community event at the Mill Stone Ice Cream shop in Bruceton Mills. According to Sales Consultant Chris Rice, the interest and turnout was better than expected.
